You must have an active NHSRA Membership in order to enter a sanctioned AHSRA rodeo. Rodeos are listed on your district page. 

ONLINE ENTRIES

Online entries are done through EQuest Events. Entries open on Monday, two (2) weeks prior to each rodeo, and remain open for 3 days, closing at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. 

Refer to the calendar at the bottom of this page for rodeo dates and entry deadlines. 

*Before you can enter, you will need to create an EQuest Event Account. You should use the same Username and Login as your Membership Account. See account setup instructions in this news story.  

Once you are logged in, you will be able to see all the district rodeos available to enter.

ENTRY CHANGES

To make changes to your on-line rodeo entry, call 403-323-7070. 

  • Call ins are one night only, two Wednesdays before the rodeo date – 4:00 to 7:00 pm
  • No late entries are ever accepted. 

If you need to make changes to your online entry, you must do that on call in night.

Refer to the calendar on your district page for call in dates and times.

TURNOUTS

Effective March 1, 2024, all AHSRA Turnouts must be submitted by the form on the Turnouts Page.

  • Complete all fields and include as much information as possible.
  • Please upload any doctor notes / vet notes.
  • When you submit the form, you will receive an email confirmation with your submission details.
  • You will receive a reply from the data secretary within 12 hours if fines or fees payment is required, the amount, and instructions to pay it. Payments must be made to the host committee by 5:00pm on the Saturday of the rodeo weekend. Failure to pay your fees and/or fines on time, you will be placed on the blacklist and be ineligible to compete until paid in full.

RODEO FEES

Entry fees are paid at each rodeo when you arrive. Entry fees are as follows:

  • Barrels and Poles – $25
  • Timed Stock events – $35
  • Junior High Rough Stock – $35
  • High School Rough Stock – $60

forms required

At each rodeo, contestant need to hand in a Parental Release Form with their parent’s signature.

Twice per year, contestants need to upload a Principal’s Signature Form to their NHSRA membership account (not EQuest). Homeschooled students upload the Home School form.

Once at the beginning of the Fall Season – after school starts. 
Once before the start of the Spring Season – by March 1st.

REPORT CARDS

All members must upload a current report card by March 1st in order to remain in good standing. Members are required to be passing at least 70% of their classes.

Report cards need to be uploaded to your NHSRA Membership Account. They will be reviewed by the district education coordinators.
