IMPORTANT DATES
AHSRA members are required to meet some specific deadlines throughout the year. Failure to meet various deadlines may result in being blacklisted, not allowed to compete at regular rodeos, loss of scholarship funds, and disqualification from the provincial finals. Please be aware of all deadlines at the beginning of the season.

august 1st
Memberships open July 1st each year. We offer membership rates at a reduced rate for the month of July. After August 1st, memberships go up $50.Β
We encourage all members to complete their memberships as soon as possible in the year. Any member who uploads their paperwork after August 1st will be assessed the $50 late fee.Β
- Memberships open online for the upcoming season. See details on our Membership page.
- Members must purchase and upload all forms before August 1st to avoid $50 price increase.
- Membership prices increase $50. Any memberships purchased before August 1st that do no have paperwork uploaded will be assessed an additional $50 late fee.Β
- 1st payout date for Grad Scholarships
- 2nd Payout date for Grad Scholarships Claims
- Deadline for current year memberships.Β
- All membership forms must be uploaded by this date.
- Memberships will not be processed past this date.
All members are required to upload the following documents toΒ their National High School Rodeo Association membership profile by March 1st.
- Semester 1 Report Card (most recent) – if you do not have a report card, you can ask your school to provide a letter stating your current grades in all enrolled classes.Β
- Signed Principal Form (Previously this form was to be handed in at the first rodeo of the fall and spring. Starting in 2025, it must be uploaded to the membership system.
- Raffle tickets are due to ticket coordinators. Money and Tickets are to be postmarked or returned to district coordinators by April 1st.Β
- Scholarship applications must be received by the Raffle / Scholarship Coordinator (or postmarked) by April 1st.Β
- 3rd payout date for Grad Scholarship Claims

What an incredible start to the National High School Rodeo Finals!
The first two days have been filled with exciting competition, unforgettable moments, new friendships, and plenty of Alberta pride. From the arena to the barns, our athletes have represented Team Alberta with determination, sportsmanship, and heart.
Whether they were making their first NHSFR appearance or chasing personal bests, every competitor has given it their all. We couldnβt be prouder of the dedication and hard work that brought each of them to Lincoln.
The week is just getting started, and there are still many more performances, memories, and opportunities ahead. Letβs keep the momentum going!

The day weβve all been waiting for is finally here! Today, Team Alberta officially kicks off competition as our athletes take to the arena to represent our province on the biggest stage in high school rodeo.

π 11:00 AM β Mandatory Contestant Meeting (all contestants)
π 2:00 PM β Final Roughstock Safety Meeting (for anyone who was unable to attend yesterdayβs meeting)
π€ Bull Riders: Donβt forget to bring your equipment for the required gear check-in.
