Effective March 1, 2024, all AHSRA turnouts must be submitted on the form below.

Entry Fees – If you turnout after entries close, you must pay your entry fees.
Turnout Fines – Turnouts that are received less than 48 hours before the start of the first performance are subject to a fine of $60 per performance (this does not include vet / medical releases). Turnouts that are submitted more than 48 hours prior to start of rodeo are not subject to fines. A turnout for bereavement is still considered a turnout – all fees and fines apply.
Vet Release – A vet note must be provided by Wednesday at 5:00pm following the rodeo that you vetted out. The vet note must state that the horse could not compete.
Medical Release –
Injury – You need a note to medical back in if it was an injury. A doctor’s note is required in order to return to competition.
Illness – If it was the flu or illness then you need a doctor’s note stating you were too ill to compete – these are due by 5 pm on Wednesday following the rodeo.
Refer to Section 3.11 (page 16) of the AHSRA Policies and Procedures Manual for turnout rules.

Layton put together a quick chute dogging run, but unfortunately picked up a +10. That’s rodeo.
What stood out even more than the run, though, was the smile on his face. Layton is absolutely beaming about his National Finals experience, and you can tell just how much this week means to him.

With Rayelle officially losing her voice, we couldn’t leave anyone out. So Ruby Rose stepped in behind the camera to fill the big shoes of both Steve Bishell and Rayelle, making sure Team Alberta’s stories kept coming.
